These thoughts are lying around
Naked, like articles in a flea
Rummage through them, if you'd like
To find me

when i look at these pictures
i realise that people don’t need more money
don’t need more things
don’t need more food
don’t need more water
but everyone, everyone needs more love.
Sometimes the words people say don’t make who they are. So never trust words. They are but utterances strung together by breath and mist. Rather, dive under the currents to the stillness of the deep. If you’re lucky, maybe… maybe you might catch their eye. And when you resurface, don’t ever forget what you saw below.

Many hold on to the belief that emotion is the opposite of reason. This idea might have arose from the Enlightenment period where rationality was emphasized. However, when one becomes emotionally crippled, one is unable to connect concepts and emotions, and would be unable to value one course of action over the other.
Which means that… everything has become the same.
Emotion is a vital ingredient in making personal decisions.
And perhaps that is why we make so much so called “crappy” decisions. But without these emotions, decisions have no meaning.
Studying for my psychology test is giving me so much insight.
Some say absence makes the heart grow fonder. But it seems like psychology supports the notion - out of sight, out of mind.
Familiarity may breed contempt, but it also breeds friendship. More contact = increasing someone’s liking for you.
If this was REALLY REALLY true… I’m so screwed. HAHA!
If reaching your potential means to fully develop your capabilities and talents, then to help someone reach their potential means that we need a personalized “program” for everyone. The church cannot become another bakery where we produce cookie cutter christians. Just because leadership develops someone’s potential, doesn’t mean that it develops another one’s potential. We need to help everyone succeed.
Everyday’s a different portrait,
made from different strokes,
different hopes,
applied with different brushes,
different touches,
dabbing unto the palette,
with dainty dabs,
and unruly swabs.
Taking a breath in a step back,
You cry, you laugh, you sigh.
You choke, you frown, you deny.
Some do, but some don’t please.
But Everyday’s still a masterpiece.
